Whether leading Davidson County's response to the largest natural disaster in modern history or making tough decisions about spending in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, Metro government continues to lead citizens into the future.

Tim Garrett has proudly served as a member of Metro government during exceptionally challenging times. Despite the hardships, Tim Garrett and Metro Council have been excellent stewards of taxpayer dollars and have been able to fund operations without a property tax increase.

Tim and Theresa Garrett and their friend, Bill Howard, enjoy biking on Davidson County's beautiful greenway system. When parks and greenways were heavily damanged by the 500-year flood in May 2010, Tim Garrett supported repairs needed to return beloved green spaces to public use. All repairs were completed without property tax increases.
